SRI KRISHNADEVARAYA UNIVERSITY - MICROBIOLOGY

Sri Krishnadevaraya University is a public university in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India, founded on July 25, 1981. The University is named after a patron of learning and the arts, Sri Krishnadevaraya, of the Vijayanagara empire of the 16th century.

Department of Microbiology was established in November 1985 on the recommendations of 6th Plan UGC Visiting Committee and is approved and funded by UGC. 

The department has been offering two-year Post-Graduate programme in Microbiology and also research programmes leading to M.Phil and Ph.D. degrees in Microbiology.

The S.K. University, Microbiology Alumni Cell was formed in November 2011 to coordinate the networking of all the SKU, Microbiology alumni and create a single global SKU Microbial community.
The vision of this website is to provide to all the SKU Microbiology alumni a pleasant and friendly interface to their alma mater.
